Oh Darling

So today after watching a very traumatic episode of Glee I had to put on one of my perhaps favourite outfits. My Dad bought me this kimono blouse as a present for doing well in my GCSE's last year and I absolutely love it, it was from Urban Outfitters. It is such a versatile piece in my opinion and at the moment I am actually on the lookout for another one but this time more like a shrug so that I can wear it with my new high waisted shorts that I got from Topshop and just a basic white tank top.

My week has been pretty uneventful as I am revising for my ICT A Level, so good luck to everyone else who is stuck in revising for exams!
Well this is a rather boring blog post so I am sorry for that my lovely readers and I shall make an effort to try and do something interest to report back to you with.

Here Comes the Sun ...

The sun is shining so I thought that I should embrace my inner hippy, I only wish that I could have had a pair of John Lennon round glasses! They will have to go on my increasingly long wish list, I already have a pair of Ray-Bans on it
I decided to wear my make up rather naturally with just a little mascara and some pale lip balm instead of my usual Chanel lipstick.
I have just been looking at the pictures of the MET ball and I just wish that I was there, everybody looked so lovely!

Whose outfit did you like best? I think that cara delevingne looked absolutely gorgeous

I Have Returned

I have returned!
I feel awful for not posting in so long, but my life has been pretty odd at the moment with things that I won't bore you with so instead I shall just apologise and promise to post once a week at the very least.

Now onto fashion business, I have just gotten my haircut, nothing too dramatic, just a little different for the Summer. I have been on a bit of a buying spree so have lots of new clothes and a few new pairs of shoes to show all of my lovely readers.
There has been a lot of talk about stripes being big for next season so I am currently on the hunt for the perfect striped dress that I can wear with my beloved Jeffrey Campbell's, but until that happens I shall just have to use what clothes I have in the bottomless pit that is my wardrobe,
What is your Summer essential?

Oh and I have recently gotten twitter so you are all welcome to follow me if you wish :)

The Killers

Due to my last post being absolutely awful here is a much more interesting post, also you also have the opportunity to actually see the pictures and not just a dreadfully fuzzy attempt at a picture!

Last night I went to see The Killers in concert and they were absolutely amazing to say the very least, I love going to concerts, it is such an amazing experience to be around so many people that love the band as much as yourself. So I decided to wear my suspender tights that I got from Primark and my beloved Fleather shorts.

It is half term this week and I went out with my friend Jack to watch Les Miserable over the weekend and I am going to be honest, I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be, it was a good film and I loved Helena Bonham Carter in it but I wasn't blown away by it, but then again I have really weird taste in books and films...

I hope that you are all enjoying the little bit of sun that we are currently getting!

A Little Bit of Fleather

So I recently acquired a pair of faux leather shorts after desperately hunting high and low for a pair and then realised that I didn't actually know what to wear it with, so I went into my mess of a wardrobe and my cream blouse was practically screaming to be worn with it.
I love faux leather as it allows me to fulfil my need for leather and support animal welfare as I am a dedicated vegetarian, go Green Peace!
Anyway, another bonus to buying faux leather is that it is considerably cheaper than the real thing and there is such a good range available now that looks real that anyone can get their hands on some!

Onto other news, so I got a little kitten on Wednesday, mashed is a half Bengal that I have called Minx (she was originally called Gobbolino but my mum hated the name and said that I had to change it). She is so cute!

Also, I saw the new Vivienne Westwood ad campaign with Kate Moss in and I'm going to be honest she doesn't look as good as she usually does but then again all Vivienne Westwood ad campaigns seem to go for the 'ugly pretty' type of look. Anyway, I was just wondering if any of you have seen it and what your opinion of it is?

Don't Want Your Picture On My Cell Phone

Don't Want Your Picture, On My Cell Phone

It is snowing here in good old Blighty and we are currently at the stage where it is still pretty and clean looking as oppose to greyish slush that it changes into when everyone starts walking on it. I sound a tad Scrouge like don't I? From this point onwards I shall try and appreciate it more...
Today I went to town so obviously I had to put my beloved green coat on but I was still cold as I was wearing a little dress that I acquired from a charity shop, how marvellous! And my granny cardigan, I was warm then I assure you.
At the moment I am looking for a kitten to adopt and I am having very little luck if I'm quite honest. The last four people that I have been in contact were trying to rip me off! So I am now very wary of these dodgy supposed cat dealers!

I could probably do with getting myself a decent camera as the pictures are pretty poor quality, suppose that I shall have to save my money up now...

How are you adapting your style for the snow?

My Green Coat and I

So today after school I had a doctors appointment and had no idea what to wear, I obviously didn't want to look too dressy because well I don't know it doesn't feel right to go to the doctors in all of my finery, but on the other hand I didn't want to resemble a tramp so I needed something informal yet pretty.

So I went to my wardrobe, looked in and pulled out my simple teal dress and cream granny cardigan and my favourite green coat to throw on over it.
Problem solved, thank heavens for the cold weather making it socially acceptable to wear coats inside, because of this I was able to just keep my coat on and not be too bothered what I was wearing underneath! Bit of a fashion cheat but one worth doing I assure you.
A coat is obviously a staple in any wardrobe may it be a thin coat to use more as a fashion accessory rather than a functional garment it is essential to any girls (or boys) wardrobe, I chose my coat because it is just so warm and due to it being such a lovely dark shade of green it suits my pale skin. Or at least I like to think that it does...
